Jacki Belile\">That&#8217;s what we&#8217;re all doing, this Advent and always! (This will be a bit of theme for us in coming weeks, on the heels of Sarah&#8217;s great sermon last week.&nbsp; Know that at Eden we&#8217;re committed to deepening in grace and truth about this, and in Christ-like compassion for one another and this world.&nbsp; That&#8217;s what Sunday&#8217;s confession from John 1 stirs in me.<br><br>I savored a&nbsp;brief time away on retreat this week in the south suburbs, part work and part rest.&nbsp; It was a nourishing balance and deeply needed at the early days of Advent and a busy season.<br><br>My heart is full with anticipation about many things, including some holiday spirit at Eden this weekend.&nbsp; Hope you&#8217;ll stop by to enjoy a little holiday cheer and explore the vendors and Girl Scout tables, as well as the raffle items (and 50\/50 raffle!) and spaghetti sauce frozen just for you!&nbsp; For sure, we can use a couple volunteers Sunday morning at 11am or 3-5pm.
