Jacki Belile\">A clergy friend of mine taught me this, a word he always says when presiding at the Communion table.\u00a0 &#8220;All that is required of you is that <em>you come hungry.&#8221;<\/em><br><br>Oh that we would abide in that invitation.\u00a0 To know our hunger and feel our need.\u00a0 For saving mercy and grace of Christ for sure.<br><br>And, that we would be hungry for righteousness (Blessed are they who do so,\u00a0 says Christ in the Sermon on the Mount).\u00a0<br><br>Hungry for wisdom and understanding (as Proverbs says&#8230;\u00a0Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
