Jacki Belile\">This past Thursday was Ascension Day, the day that many in the worldwide Church remember Christ&#8217;s Ascension as told in the first chapter of Acts.&nbsp; I&#8217;ve always empathized with those left down below&#8230; what a roller coaster they&#8217;d just experienced!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Personally and pastorally, I&#8217;ve always clung to the wisdom (and challenge) of his <strong>preceding <\/strong>words&#8230;<br><br><em>\u2018It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.&nbsp;<sup>8<\/sup>But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.\u2019<\/em><br><br>What are we promised? No answers about when. Seldom answers about why. But always experiences (not always felt as &#8220;answers&#8221;) of His presence and power.
