2018 Service of Healing and Holy Communion
“Yet in the dark streets shineth the everlasting Light;
The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.”
We gather this Sunday for our Annual Service of Healing and Holy Communion, a tradition begun some years ago by Pastor Steve. As we travel on from the Bethlehem stories, we are mindful of the hopes and fears surging in our own hearts. As we travel on across the threshold of the New Year, we are mindful of our many needs for healing, for ourselves and those with whom we walk.
Let us gather again and remember again that the One chosen by God, the One given to us, grants us a peace that passes understanding. As we bring ourselves and our gifts to worship Christ, may we find ourselves caught up in the wholeness of his embrace and know that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
This is a special invitation to join us for a time of communion and–if you are desiring–anointing for this time. Join us, and invite your friends and family! (If you are not able to join us in person, and would like a name lifted for healing petitions, please email or call the office.)
For the Good News,
